Shipping Policy

  • Online orders usually ship within 1-2 business days from the date your order is placed. Orders placed on Fridays after 4pm CST may not be shipped until the following Monday. Occasionally an order is placed for an item we don't have in stock. In this case we may contact the manufacturer and have them ship it directly to you. This is quicker than having them ship it to us, and us then shipping it to you. However, orders that are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer sometimes encounter a delay. We will make every attempt to keep the customer informed of any delays that we are aware of.

  • We use UPS as our primary shipper, but we can also use Federal Express or USPS when needed. UPS or Federal Express will not deliver to Military APO/FPO boxes. UPS also will not deliver to a P.O. box.

  • If your credit card billing address is a P.O. box,then you must provide a physical shipping address when you place an order with us.

  • We offer free UPS Ground service on many products to those residing in the United States (Lower 48 states only).

  • In some cases, unusually large or heavy items in our store may be subject to additional shipping charges that may not reflect on your order at the time the order is placed. If this happens, we will contact you and give you the option to pay the additional shipping fees or cancel the order.

Returns

  • You MUST contact Power Source Diesel prior to returning any product. A RMA (Return Authorization Number) is required, and must be written on the outside shipping carton. Complete this form to obtain a Return Authorization Number and return shipment instructions. Returns must be packaged securely in an outer carton Do not write on the product packaging itself. Write only on the outer shipping carton. Packages received without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the outer carton will be refused.

  • Returnable items must be received by us within 15 days of the product being received by you the customer. (determined by Tracking info)

  • Returned product must be in new, resellable condition, with all original boxes, packaging, parts, cables, manuals, etc.

  • Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected, and, at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking fee of up to 25% may be assessed.

  • Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred to return products.

    Some Circumstances in which credit will not be issued but not limited to:

    • Product has been installed and/or used

    • Product has been damaged from an attempt to be installed and/or used

    • Product is shipped back with out original box, manual and/or parts

    • Seal on electrical parts is broken

    • Product serial number does not match that of which was original shipped to buyer

    • Product is deemed nonresaleable by us

Cores

  • On many of our items, we must charge a refundable "Core Charge". This generally includes items such as injection pumps, injectors, starters, alternators, etc.

 

  • "Core" is actually an acronym for "Cash On Return". Cores are rebuildable parts that can usually be redeemed for a portion of their original purchase price. An acceptable core is one that is not broken or so severely damaged beyond repair that it can no longer be repaired and rebuilt to proper working condition.

 

  • A "Core Charge" is a deposit, for the value of the core, that is paid at the time you make the purchase. Core Charges are usually collected for items such as pumps, injectors, engines, starters, alternators, turbochargers, torque converters, etc. The Core Charge is refundable after we receive your old, rebuildable core, back. The core will be thoroughly inspected, and if deemed fit the amount will be refunded via check by mail.

 

  • To receive full core credit, the core you return must be the same model and part number as what was purchased. There is generally not a problem with core refunds. But if you are unsure if your core will meet our core return policy, then please call our parts department at (325) 650-0390 before you place your order.

Cores MUST be shipped back to us within 30 days of purchase in the original container that the new / rebuilt part was received in. The shipping cost for the return of the core is the responsibility of the customer.
